1. Platform Overview & Scope

mysetlist.ai is an independent music metadata registry and Artist Node management platform. Its purpose is to allow professional artists and rights-holders to create, validate, and lock a structured Artist Node record containing verified identifiers (ISNI, ISRC), carrier access preferences, and consent parameters across supported streaming platforms.

This site, all associated subpages, API endpoints, and data processing pipelines are operated by mysetlist.ai. Use of this platform constitutes unconditional acceptance of all terms and policies set out on this page. If you do not accept these terms, do not submit a registration request.

2. Age Requirement — 18+ Only

mysetlist.ai does not knowingly collect data from, nor permit registration by, any person under the age of 18. By submitting a registration request, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction.

The restriction exists for the following reasons:

• Artist Node records establish binding carrier access preferences that may affect royalty routing, licensing decisions, and commercial distribution rights — legal obligations not appropriate for minors without parental or guardian oversight.
• Data processing involves personal identifiers (ISNI, ISRC, artist name, email) that require informed consent under GDPR Article 8, the UK GDPR, COPPA (US), and equivalent laws. The minimum age for valid consent without parental authorisation is 18 in the most restrictive jurisdictions we operate across.
• The AI pipeline generates structured commercial records. The legal accountability required to validate the accuracy of these records assumes adult capacity.

Any registration submitted by a person under 18 will be rejected upon discovery. Records submitted in violation of this requirement will be permanently deleted without notice.

3. Platform & Trademark Disclaimers

mysetlist.ai is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, or operated in partnership with any of the following companies or platforms, whose names are referenced solely to describe technical compatibility and carrier access management scope:

All trademarks, service marks, logos, and trade names referenced belong to their respective owners. Reference to these platforms does not imply any form of commercial relationship, data-sharing agreement, or technical integration beyond standard published API and metadata ingestion standards (including DDEX, ISRC, and ISNI registries).

4. No Distribution or Royalty Guarantee

Registering an Artist Node record on mysetlist.ai does not guarantee:

• Distribution to any streaming platform
• Acceptance of carrier access preferences by any platform or distributor
• Royalty collection, routing, or payment from any platform
• Metadata propagation to any third-party music database (MusicBrainz, AllMusic, Gracenote, etc.)
• ISNI or ISRC issuance — identifiers submitted are validated by our pipeline but issuance remains subject to registration body rules

mysetlist.ai stores carrier access decisions as preferences within your Artist Node record. Whether any downstream platform reads, honours, or acts on those preferences depends entirely on that platform's own technical infrastructure, API availability, and internal policies, over which mysetlist.ai has no control.

5. AI Content & Generative Technology Policy

5.1 — How AI is used on this platform

mysetlist.ai uses a proprietary AI pipeline to validate, normalise, and structure artist metadata. The pipeline does not generate creative content (lyrics, music, artwork) on behalf of any artist. Its sole function is data validation, deduplication, and structured record assembly.

5.2 — AI-generated content submitted by users

Artists submitting registration data represent that:

• All metadata submitted (artist name, ISNI, ISRC, catalog information) is accurate and truthful to the best of their knowledge.
• If any catalog being registered includes AI-generated music, lyrics, or artwork, the submitting artist confirms they hold all necessary rights, licences, and disclosures required by applicable law and platform policy — including any AI-transparency disclosure mandates that may apply in their jurisdiction.
• mysetlist.ai is not responsible for verifying whether musical works registered through Artist Node records were generated by AI tools. Rights ownership and disclosure obligations remain solely with the submitting artist.

5.3 — AI-generated images

This platform does not accept, store, or process artist artwork or profile images at the Artist Node registration stage. No AI-generated imagery is collected through the registration form. Any future image upload features will be governed by a separate policy specifying AI image provenance and disclosure requirements.

5.4 — EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689)

The AI pipeline used by mysetlist.ai is classified as a low-risk AI system under the EU AI Act. It does not make consequential decisions about natural persons, generate synthetic identities, or operate in any high-risk category as defined by Annex III of the Regulation. Artists in the EU may contact us regarding AI system transparency as provided under Article 13.

6. Data Protection & Privacy

6.1 — Data collected

Registration collects: artist name, email address, optional ISNI, optional ISRC, and streaming platform preferences. No financial data, government ID, or biometric data is collected at registration.

6.2 — Purpose and legal basis

Data is processed for the sole purpose of constructing and validating your Artist Node record. Legal basis: contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest in operating a music rights registry (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6.3 — Retention

Artist Node records are retained for the duration of an active account. Upon deletion request, all personally identifiable data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate metadata statistics may be retained indefinitely.

6.4 — Data sales

We do not sell, rent, or commercially transfer personal data to any third party. Data is not shared with advertising platforms, data brokers, or analytics companies.

6.5 — Subprocessors

Data may be processed by Cloudflare, Inc. (infrastructure) under standard data protection agreements. No other subprocessors have access to registration data at this time.

6.6 — Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at the address in Section 12 to exercise these rights.

7. EU & UK Legal Compliance

7.1 — GDPR (EU) 2016/679

We process data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation. Artists located in the European Economic Area have full rights as described in Section 6.6. A Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) has been conducted for the AI pipeline processing. The lawful basis for all processing is documented and reviewable upon request.

7.2 — UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018

Processing of data belonging to UK residents is conducted in compliance with the UK GDPR as retained in UK law post-Brexit. The same rights and protections apply as under EU GDPR.

7.3 — Digital Services Act (DSA) — Regulation (EU) 2022/2065

mysetlist.ai is a micro-enterprise as defined under the DSA and is not subject to the enhanced obligations applicable to very large online platforms (VLOPs). We nonetheless maintain transparency principles consistent with DSA intent, including this public policy disclosure.

7.4 — ePrivacy / Cookie Policy

mysetlist.ai does not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising pixels. The only data stored locally in the browser is functional session state required to operate the registration form. No consent banner is required under ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3) for strictly necessary technical cookies.

7.5 — Cross-border data transfers

Infrastructure is operated on Cloudflare's global edge network. Data may transit through servers in the US and EU. Transfers to the US are made under Cloudflare's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission.

8. Intellectual Property & Patent Notice

The mysetlist.ai platform, including its AI validation pipeline, Artist Node data schema, carrier access decision logic, and associated software, is protected by:

• U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 64/060,499 — filed May 8, 2026 (Confirmation No. 8201)
• U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 64/074,013 — filed May 25, 2026 (Confirmation No. 7330)

Non-provisional patent filings are targeted for 2027. All methodology, pipeline architecture, schema design, and software described herein is proprietary. Unauthorised reproduction, reverse-engineering, cloning, or commercial use of any element of the pipeline is strictly prohibited and may constitute patent infringement and/or misappropriation of trade secrets under applicable law.

The term "mysetlist.ai" and associated branding are claimed as unregistered trade marks. Use without written permission is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mysetlist.ai and its operators, directors, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any:

• Loss of revenue, royalties, or income resulting from carrier access decisions not being recognised by any platform
• Errors or inaccuracies in metadata validated through the AI pipeline
• Unavailability of the service, including during beta/early access periods
• Decisions made by streaming platforms, distributors, or rights organisations in relation to your Artist Node record
• Damages arising from third-party platform policy changes that affect metadata handling

Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law in your jurisdiction.

10. Minors — Absolute Prohibition

mysetlist.ai is a service exclusively for individuals aged 18 or older. There is no minor-access pathway, and none is planned. Persons under 18 may not register, access, or use this service in any capacity — whether directly or through a parent, guardian, or other representative acting on their behalf.

By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If we discover that a registration was submitted by or on behalf of a person under 18, the record will be permanently deleted without notice, and any associated account access will be terminated immediately.

Liability notice: mysetlist.ai expressly disclaims all liability arising from any attempted minor access. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for ensuring minors do not access this service. The operator of this platform assumes no duty of care and no supervisory responsibility with respect to any person under 18.

11. Changes to These Policies

mysetlist.ai reserves the right to update these policies at any time. Material changes will be indicated by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Where changes materially affect rights previously granted to registered artists, we will make reasonable efforts to notify via the email address on record.
